Electronic Banking Specialist

Provide exceptional customer service and support of our Electronic Banking products and services ACH, Positive Pay, wire transfers, online banking, mobile banking, remote deposit capture, voice banking, Zelle, and eStatements. Provide support to our consumer and business customers as well as our Retail and Lending Departments. Process, verify and reconcile the electronic banking transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies, procedures and bank regulations. Support Merchant Source Capture solution and its business customers. Provide Tier 2 call support for customer calls regarding electronic banking products.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

ACH Processing and Wire Transfers

• Process ACH batches originated via our business cash management service
• Process domestic and foreign wire transfer requests. Act as dual control in the daily balancing of wire transfers

Online Banking Customer Service

• Assist with consumer and business online banking access i.e., new user set up, password resets, monthly service charges, multifactor authentication, and advanced issues
• Assist customers to ensure they are using the correct browser for their electronic device
• Respond to customers’ email inquiries received from online banking and our website
• Provide support to our consumers that use online banking, Zelle, remote deposit capture and bill pay
• Provide support to our business customers with cash management services such as wire transfers, ACH origination, bill pay, positive pay and remote deposit capture
• Review maintenance reports to ensure accuracy of the online banking registrations
• Assist customers and end users with eStatements, alerts, scheduling transfers

Merchant Source Capture

• End user setup and remote installation for new and existing Source Capture customers
• Assist business customers with issues scanning, submitting or accessing Merchant Source Capture
• Escalate issues as needed to vendor support

Voice Response (TeleBank)

• Assist customers and staff with questions regarding TeleBank. Reset PINs when needed for customers
• Contact vendor support to resolve any IVR issues

Operational Support

• Provide Tier 2 customer call support for Customer Care and branch office personnel
• Assist staff and customers with Electronic Banking product questions and problems
• Process and submit customer issues to vendor technical support as needed

Other Duties

• Support Customer Care in other duties as assigned and provide back up within the Customer Care Department as needed
• Maintain an effective relationship with the United Bankers Bank Support team to manage any issues that arise
• Prepares for and supports various internal and external audits and risk assessments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; and knowledge typically gained through a minimum of two years' experience in banking, cash management, or bank back-office environment
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information in commonly understood terms
• Excellent interpersonal skills, exhibiting a high degree of professionalism
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, work cooperatively and interact with relevant staff and customers, able to communicate effectively and be a team player
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks, switching easily between systems while troubleshooting problems
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Branch Supervisor

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises a full-service branch to include its business development activities, personnel, customer service, profitability, and operations
• Opens new accounts for bank products and services and expands existing customer relationships through cross-selling or referring products and services to the appropriate areas
• Assist customers with consumer (non-mortgage) loan needs by accepting applications, collecting supporting documentation, and closing approved loans
• Obtains loan documents required prior to submission to reduce loan errors
• Calls on existing and prospective customers to develop new business and to retain or expand existing business
• Ensures standard operating procedures, regulations and policies are followed and provides guidance to branch personnel on operating problems, exceptions, and adjustments
• Demonstrates a high level of leadership, supporting the Bank's strategic plan and ensuring business practices are consistent with the Bank's mission
• Supervises the branch staff to include recruitment, selection, training and development, scheduling, monitoring and evaluating performance
• Monitors branch production reports, coaches and trains branch staff, and utilizes customer relationship management skills to achieve established goals and profitability targets
• Ensures effective and efficient customer service is provided by the branch staff to include opening all types of accounts, providing customers with information, and resolving banking problems for customers
• Participates in community activities to support organizational goals
• Ensures all audit and compliance requirements are met
• Attends regular bank meetings and training sessions and is responsible for effectively communicating new policies and procedures as well as sales information to the branch staff

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
• Required minimum of three years' experience in banking, cash management, or bank back office environment
• Preferred minimum of two years' experience in a management role

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Opens new accounts for bank products and services and expands existing customer relationships through cross-selling or referring products and services to the appropriate areas
• Assists customers in person or by phone with bank products and services to develop new business and to retain or expand existing business
• Maintain and balance cash drawer, balance and service automatic teller machine, and assist with night deposits
• Works with branch management to implement activities to ensure branch profit goals are achieved
• Assists the branch management team in coaching and training the teller staff to help develop skills and achieve branch sales goals
• Works with branch Tellers on warm hand-off procedures
