Customer Care Specialist

The Customer Care Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service experiences through various channels, including phone calls and online interactions. This position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, from providing account information to assisting with basic electronic banking transactions. Additionally, the Customer Care Specialist is entrusted with essential bookkeeping tasks and clerical duties integral to the department's operations.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding account details, electronic banking, and various banking products and services
• Respond promptly and professionally to emails from both customers and colleagues, addressing queries and concerns effectively
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and ensure seamless service delivery
• Conduct credit card collections calls with tact and professionalism

2. Bookkeeping Functions:
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including verification of signature accounts and review of closed saving and checking accounts
• Enter accurate descriptions in the General Ledger for transactions and ensure thorough business check reviews
• Process deposit account verifications, mobile deposits, and credit card balancing efficiently
• Handle encoding corrections and monitor piggy savings accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Complete wire transfers received via fax or email and process debit card/credit card payments for loans or credit cards

3. Clerical Duties:
• Maintain overdraft logs and address changes, ensuring accuracy in records and filings
• Process stop payment requests and handle special statement cycles and mailings with attention to detail
• Scan completed work for documentation and maintain organized filing systems
• Prepare loan notices and tax documents manually as required

4. Miscellaneous Responsibilities:
• Attend training sessions to stay updated on compliance, security, and internal guidelines, completing all required online training modules
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft suite products and Windows-based systems, adapting quickly to new job functions
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating personal accountability, self-motivation, and attention to detail

Residential Loan Closer

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Loan Closer is responsible for preparing all closing documents on real estate loans, home equity and modifications in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the Loan Closer will work diligently with title agencies on closings and ensure that there is compliance with all regulations. The Loan Closer types accurate closing documents, submits closing fees to the title agency, reviews CD/HUD statements and closing docs, prepares coupon books, and funding wires/checks.Tracks and manages closed loan files on the loan software and team calendar.Completes the loan checklist to indicate all documents needed in order to have a complete loan file.Cross trains within the team and works closely with the Processor to ensure proper coverage and backup. Transfers and passes off loan files in a timely manner.Complete all other tasks/duties as needed while maintaining great customer service internally and externally. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

High School GraduateThe successful candidate must be proficient in basic software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, must be detail oriented and maintain a high level of integrity and accuracy. Loan Accounting Specialist

The Loan Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling loan accounts, including fee waivers, payment corrections, and daily account balancing. This individual will process investor payments, dealer floor plan payments, and advances, while ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all accounting tasks related to loans. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential for success in this role.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform loan maintenance tasks such as fee waivers, payment corrections, and updates to loan records
• Daily balancing of monthly and weekly accounts
• Manage loan funding processes and enter daily block work
• Process investor payments, dealer floor plan payments, and advances
• Timely and accurate reconciliation of loan-related accounts, including balancing reports and non-post accounts
• Ensure all accounting transactions are processed efficiently and in compliance with company policies

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in loan operations or a related field
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

Commercial Loan Processor/Closer

The Commercial Loan Processor/Closer position requires someone who can effectively manage both the processing and closing aspects of commercial real estate loans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the commercial loan process, and the ability to take a loan from the approval phase through to final documentation and closing.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect and verify all documentation necessary for processing commercial real estate loans
• Ensure that all required paperwork and supporting documents are complete and accurate before submission
• Work closely with loan officers and clients to gather necessary information in a timely manner
• Compile and prepare all necessary documents for signing and formalizing commercial loans
• Coordinate with internal teams and external parties (attorneys, title companies, etc.) to facilitate the closing process
• Ensure all closing documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulations

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in loan operations or a related field
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

• Previous experience in commercial loan processing or closing is a plus

The Loan Clerk will serve as the liaison between customers and the loan department, ensuring that all loan processes are handled efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with bank policies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record new loans and renewals of existing loans, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
• Prepare periodic loan reports and maintain proper records

• Calculate loan items such as interest and payments, ensuring correct amounts are recorded
• Perform real estate and commercial loan reconciliations as required

Customer Service Representative

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Opens new accounts, refers, and cross-sells the company's products and services
• Participates with branch management in maintaining a customer-focused environment and developing new ideas to increase business that will help achieve customer relationship objectives
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Opens new accounts for bank products and services and expands existing customer relationships through cross-selling or referring products and services to the appropriate areas
• Assists customers in person or by phone with Bank products and services to develop new business and to retain or expand existing business
• Maintain and balance cash drawer, balance and service automatic teller machine, and assist with night deposits
• Works with branch management to implement activities to ensure branch profit goals are achieved
• Assists the branch management team in coaching and training the teller staff to help develop skills and achieve branch sales goals
• Works with branch Tellers on warm hand-off procedures
• Assists branch personnel with operational duties and on Teller line as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in financial industry preferred
• Ability to effectively utilize a computer and other standard office equipment
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Must maintain a friendly, courteous and professional demeanor
